    Karmann badge uncompleted

    Hi guys:

My friend Antonio began to dissamble his "new" 911T 2.2 Coupe to restore...

What we know is that this car is Ivory Light, paint code 1111

We saw that the car was Karmann built, but the badge is uncompleted. We haven't the bodyshell (Karosserie NR) serial number:

    How could we get it?

I found a new Karmann badge NOS in stoddard: http://www.stoddard.com/shop/shopexd.asp?id=1396

Thanks. This forum is awesome and there a pile of value info.

That badge looks correct to me. No VIN on the badge after 1968. A very few early 1969 MY cars had any sort of a number on the badge other than paint code.

    I didn't know that.
I saw a pinture from another early 911 Karmann badge with the serial number and thought that it was the correct.

    Thanks for your quick reply
