    First-Saturday-of the-month get-together @ EASY

Haven't been to one of the Jim Braezeale sponsored meetings for four years, but felt like kicking off 2013 as early as possible with a car related event, since my wife vetoed the Sausalito New Year's Day anti-football ride in lieu of another destination.

Not attending on a regular basis for that long, I can't testify whether the turn out was good or not, but it seemed to me that there was a pretty healthy turnout of both, the usual suspects and some new R Gruppe members and their cars.

The light was awful and not at all conducive to photography, it was cold and dreary with rain hanging in the air, but fresh donuts, hot coffee and good conversation made up for it somewhat - I have a feeling it's going to be a Hell of a good year........automotively speaking!!

Please John, I'm yet to see a bad picture taking by you. You would probably take a great picture in the dark with no flash. : )

Thanks much, Freddie, but given photogenic subjects like the above, it's hard not to take passable photos.

Nice paint job on Steve's Lime Green shorthood.

    Hi John

Great photos, as usual. Be sure to be here next month (Feb 2) for our Rgruppe meet. It promises to be a great turnout, with lots of photo ops. There should be a good mix of those old Pre-900 series cars, as well.
Rumor has it that there will be a contingent of Good old boys visiting from Atlanta, along with all of the usual suspects.
I, especially, appreciate you sharing your Apple Fritter with me!
    Looking forward to seeing Y'all.

    Ciao

    Jim

I can confirm the arrival of the good old boys from GA......looking forward to a good, although quick, trip. Depending on how my project is progressing, I may have to bring my large overnight bag to fill with some bits and pieces.

    John,

Do you know who owns the (Irish) green coupe? Looks like 7's all round and just the right amount of tyre. I would like to hear what those tyres are?

Which one,........... the two Irish green Coupes shown are not the same car.

Actually, rereading your post I think you must be referring to the top car, with the bumper-mounted fogs. That's R Gruppe member John Gray's car.
