    1968 S Targa softwindow?

When there are no options listed on a 2.0 911 S with an invoice of january 1968, is it then a softwindow? In other words, was a glass rear window an option in jan. '68?

    Thanks!

    Erik

68s that came with a glass back window have a unique back glass. It has heater wires that run vertically. All others, including 1969, have heater wires that run horizontally. If your car has horizontal heater wires, you can be pretty sure that it was a "softie" when delivered from the factory.
