I have not bought a mufller from Patrick Motorsport, but several parts several times, and I have been always pleased. James Patrick is a very nice guy and can be trusted. Have you asked him any credentials about ? I am sure one of his client would be pleased to give feedback.

James E. Patrick III can be found on facebook, and of course via info@patrickmotorsports.com.

    This is my hnuble feedback.
    Cheers

That looks like it is made by Dansk and resold. If it is a Dansk muffler then my experience is that they are fine but note two things:
    1) They are LOUD. Some would say that is a good thing but not if you are trying to pass a trackside noise test or if you have fussy neighbours.
    2) The standard painted finish comes off after a very few heat cycles. Worth going for the ceramic finish if you care about aesthetics.

    Hope that helps.

PS. If you are looking for the ultimate RSR silencing solution, this is it. Made by Neil Bainbridge at BS Motorsports in the UK. It has a pair of butterfly valves which direct the gas flow either through the silencer box or straight through like megaphones. Have had this on the static dyno with my engine and it shows no power drop over a megaphone exhaust. With the valves closed it passes a UK static 105 dB noise test. As you can see from the picture it's made in stainless but have had mine coated grey to look mild steel. The downside - they aren't cheap!

To me the muffler just below it, where the outlets are pushed in towards the middle, seems a little quieter but I have never heard them back to back on the same car.

now i have the dansk muffler that has the closer pipes on my 2.7 (pee shooter style) so as a comparison would say the current is louder than the pea shooter . would then the patrick one be louder again ?
