    Price check Panasonic radio

I had this Panasonic stereo radio with a chrome faceplate, I believe early 70's installed in my SWB 67 911 and it looked great! How much is it worth?

Since it is not a Becker or Blaupunkt it was not factory or dealer installed, looks period correct and probably was installed by local car stereo store back in the day. I would say it is probably worth $100 for someone who doesn't want to pay $400 for Becker or Blaupunkt but wants period correct look. Hope that helps.

That was a comon radio along with other brands of radios that people (cheapskates) installed in their cars "back in the day" because they didn't want to spend the few extra dollars for a Blaupunkt. You radio appears to have a Blaupunkt bezel that has been modified ( read ruined) inorder to fit your radio. Maybe the radio was a replacement for the original Blaupunkt that want bad. Blaupunkt radios are notorious for unrelaiability. Your Panasonic radio is not worth anywhere near what a Blaupunkt or Backer radio is worth but it probably works better that most of them.

Thanks for the information! It really works well, and looks fine in an early 911.
