Anyone else noticing SLOW website performance here?

Just seeing if you guys are experiencing what I am. When clicking in the forums, It seems much slower than normal- 5+ Seconds after I click. Other sites I goto are all OK and fast.

same. sometimes its fast though...however its one of the slower sites I visit. pelican is slow too. every other forum I visit is pretty snappy. I wonder if its a shared server seeing loads from other sites thats effecting the reg.

Absolutely.............except it's usually a lot longer than 5 seconds. I would be delighted if it was a mere 5 seconds, and not the glacially slow response we're burdened with lately.

I tend to believe the suggestion that it's the Banners that are slowing the site, even though I have never seen one show up on my screen.

It's to the point that I have quite severely curtailed my daytime participation on the ESReg forum, ands now mainly log on mainly in the middle of the night, since I don't sleep soundly. From about 1 to about 3 or 4 AM ( Pacific time ) the site actually responds quite "normally", but that's really not a serious or acceptable solution, is it ?

    respectfully,

Great banners. Ad Choice is really a joke.

I would suggest the server. When I click around its "waiting for early911registry.org" more than anything. the ads.doubleclick whatever actually seems to return its query really fast, at least right now. As far as I can see, the banners load last, which is how it should be.

Definitely noticeably slower than other web page loading when I surf. Cyclical, though, like John said. Late at night it is fastest. Early evening it is slowest.
