    Fuchs part number & value question - 8 & 9 x 15

I have a set of 15 x 8 and 15 x 9 Fuchs on a car I bought a while ago. The part number for the 9's is 911.361.020.03, AS162 28139, both dated coded 177. The part number for the 8's is 911.361.020.02, AS162 281399 and these are both dated 573. This part number for the 8's does not show up in any of the charts I have. Can anyone help identify what these might have originally been supplied with, and provide any thoughts on value? Thanks

George - that early version of the 8in Fuchs (which accepts the 3-pronged centre cap) was available direct from the Factory's Race Dept. The 5/'73 date codes on yours mean that they might have been fitted to the rear of one of the (very) late 2.7RS models - Harvey will know.

Similarly, the 9's could be purchased from the Race Dept - I'm not aware of any standard fitment for 9x15" Fuchs in '77.

    George,
The 9 x 15' are pretty rare, and somehow it's easier to find 8 x 15' from 1973 than the 7 x 15'. Value? If you are lucky you find the 8' for 500-600$ each but don't be surprised to see them selling for $1000,- and up. No idea about the 9'. If you decide to sell the 8' just PM me.

    Regards,

    Cees

    George.
The 9s are worth about 1000-1500 each depending on condition. From the race dept. Replacement for 73RSR and 74RS....or any other car using 9s.
The 8s were some of the first "production" 8s available. The change over from race to production was about 1/73..About the same value, again depending on condition.
For that much money they would need a full inspection.
I can help if you need.
