    Jeff Smith's badass hotrod.

Still looks sensational and in the hands of a real champion now. Great photos.

I got this article from PCA yesterday too. Nice car. Is this a new PANO that I've yet to receive?

Also, what did the author mean to say here... A backseat doesn't exist in the car right??

"Rolling over the Tennessee mountain roads in the backseat, listening to the melodic sounds from the exhaust,"
    1968 911S
    1986 Carrera
    2006 Carrera S

1973 BMW 3.0CS - Frances (gone but not forgotten)

That's how he as the photographer got the pictures of Franchitti driving. See the next to last picture on the blog.

great ride....when I saw the center exit duals I thought of Jeff S. right away..

I saw that car at Lime Rock @2 yrs ago or so......has to be one of the nicest, sweetest rodded 911's Ive ever seen.

    I wanted to add..

....w/ Dario's skill set, and the power to wt ratio of that car...Id love to see an in car vid of him pushing it...

for the folks who dont know this beast:

Great guy! Met him at an Indy race at Sears Point when Canadian Club was one of his sponsors a few years ago. He was a Ferrari guy then and had quite a few in his collection. I bet he'll be switching over to the Porsche dark side now! As you know, you can't own just one Porsche! :-) Bet that hot rod S is more fun to drive then any of those Ferrari's!!

When Jeff 'unveiled' this car at Sonoma in 2006, I was walking around checking it out and noticed that even the slots on all of the screws attaching the rear lid hold-downs were perfectly aligned. Looked at Jeff and said 'dude, you're one sick SOB'

Really cool to see that Dario has hung onto this thing for a few years now and it wasn't just the toy du jour for him.
