Becker Grand Prix Ipod cable

Hello!

Does anyone know where to get the correct Ipof cable for this radio?



I have this cable, but it does not work because the connector has a metal edge.

Becker in New Jersey still sells these new. Don't have the number with me at work, but if you give the main number a call they can get you to the rigth department.

I think the cable (EDIT: plug port in the back of the unit) you have was to go to a separate preamp (?) box. I have a Becker Europa II that has the cable and the preamp it has speaker outputs and Mini jacks in it. I have this in a 67 250S mbz I have not driven in several yrs, I have been thinking about transplanting into the 71 Targa, I pulled the unit from a 70's MBZ in a local yard about 15 yrs ago, prior to ipods.
I think I will pull it and send it to Becker to go thru it, the dial marker sometimes slipped on the string when using the tuner.
Do you have a separate box about 2-3" x 3-4" by about 10" long under the dash?
