These also make wonderful bladder overflow bottles when strapped to your pant leg. Saves time in the shop.

    Hi Don Franco,

I actually won a bet and got a few Shillings in the payola....wanna know the bet?

    OK enough waiting:

The bet was to see if you would actually be on the entry list for the Daytona 24.......I said you would make it right to the finish line (whenever that is) and the op-poser said you would bail before the official entry was posted. So now I have some $$ for parts to finish the "R" we have been restoring for the last 5 years! (even the 121st Chapel took more time to build then was promised)

And about the bladder control.....I would never lower myself to use a bottle from a 1968 911....I use a vent-breather bottle from a 917....its bigger!!

You West Palm guys are so pretentious. 24 ct this, 917 that. In Scottsdale we have one dollar stores; you have 100 dollar stores. Even the Haitian cab driver that drove me from W Palm airport to my hotel a couple weeks ago was wearing a Rolex Yacht Master ll.

I thought '68 bottles did not have the mold protrusion to mount the pump which mounted to the body.

Interesting thought. I'm no expert; bottle came from a 1968 car.
    If not 68, what year?
    Thanks.

    68 912 water bottle

Here is one pulled from a 68 912 (Karmann) around 1995..has a dime store stopper 1 1/8 diameter...Never really noticed the mount on the side!...Cliff
