Was all excited until I got to the pic with the paint ID plate. Why do body shops find it so difficult to grind 4 rivets off?
I wonder if Jerry got 4 new rivets on his paint plate?

    Attention to detail: F-

Anybody remember the Johnny Carson gag where he rolled out a Corvair that had been painted by an Earl Scheib-like character?
The whole thing was painted gold. Wheels, windows, bumpers etc. Funny as heck.

    Funny indeed.

Definitely a nice car with some great patina but will need detail work. I would love to know what the buyer shelled out for it.

Yea I saw the boogered up paint plate The seller claimed that the painter was the guy who paints Seinfeld's cars...hmmm...I show it didn't reach reserve at under 38k.

I messaged the seller, he said it was in accident, however failed to go into any specifics.
