    WTB Headers

    Hey All

I think I want to replace the headers I have on my 2.7, I currently run factory headers with the rusty old heater tin removed, but one side has failed.

I'm interested in knowing what's available (locally) - new or second-hand, don't need heat.

    Cheers

    john,

i got mine from Steve Weiner at Rennsport Systems about $790 landed, struggled to get something other than SSI's locally, if you go this route make sure you get the extension piece that fits them up to a standard muffler

    John,

Gonzo in Brisbane used to do a lot of porsche cup cars and cars for T&D in the old days. Might be worth contacting them as they might be able to fab a pretty nice set for you. I am pretty sure they weren't outrageously expensive either.

The sets I got from the us for the blue car were around $500. I will try and track down where we got them from.

John I bought mine from the bird and got steel Bursch ones without heater wrap 1 1/2 inch diameter. Michael N has never commented on the one way or the other.

Craig, were yours the ones made by George Narbel? I understand they are pretty much the best.

Off topic: Craig - Have you seen the changes to the group S classes? Your car would no longer be grouped with the 2.7's.

D'oh - you're right Hung. My mistake - I think the new classes just reinforce that it is a class based series.

Us 2.0 litre drivers didn't do too well in the rejig.

Yes, we might have to put our hands up to be on the GSRA to change the rules so that we clean up!

More Sb cars coming out - another from Victoria in the final stage of sorting. Don't know about PI but will be at Rennsport!
