No one has a clue? Wow... I find that hard to believe. I couldn't possibly have stumped the judges with something so seemingly trivial.

Maybe no one is reading this post because it doesn't have a funny/sexy title. -Anything with "911R" or "boobs" in the title should work. Maybe I should have entitled it "Option Group D17 - how to get beautiful women to flash their boobs in public." Or maybe "Was Option Group D17 added to any 911R?"

All kidding aside, how 'bout this; is there a list of option groups somewhere? Maybe that will help get this party started.

My '74 Carrera has a similar option group. The MSRP shows "Option Group N17". I obtained the CoA in the 1997 time frame and it showed the same item. I asked Howard Adams, the fellow at PCNA Reno about it, and he did some digging around to come up with an answer. At that time he determined it included Tinted Glass, Sport Shock Absorbers, Bumbers with Impact Absorbers, and Intermittent Windshield Wipers. The theory was the Factory needed a 'catch all' category for the miscellaneous items for pricing purposes. He also reissued the CoA to specifically call out these items.

Does your car have "S" decos?
Why did you blur the model?
Are you ashamed of the fact that it is a "T"?
Nothing to be ashamed of, I drive a 911T. Heck, mine is even Sepia Brown.

This is a car that sold recently on the Bay. From Austin, TX. I took a look at it before auction close, but it got too pricey for me.

Can't pull anything over on Jim... He's seen 'em all. -Actually, I wasn't trying to hide anything, just being a little courteous to the owner. I drive a T also, and ain't ashamed of it in the slightest

I should have said it right off the bat; I'm not asking in reference to any specific car, I just want to understand what these option packages include.

A lot of us want to try and get better info on the "option groups". So far very little is known. Essentially they are packages of options and priced as a group. We need to be careful since the meanings of option codes, and presumably the option groups also, could change with every model year.
