Front jack stand placement when removing suspension?

Can someone show me where to put jack stands under the front end when I need to remove the whole front suspension? I've heard you can put a 2x6 across somewhere but I don't see a section that is flat from left to right.
    Thanks

This spot ok? With a small 2x4 or hockey puck between

Towards the back of the car - about 5" and use a 2x4 about 3 feet long across the underside of the pan. Put a pad on either end 1/2" thick 6"x6" (about that size), so your not rocking on the center tunnel.

Remember that sheet metal you have the jack stand holding up (in your photo) is just 20g sheet metal. Don't punch dents -spread out the pressure.

The balance point is back there by the jacking spur so anyplace under the pedal area is OK.

I've always used the beam just in front of the gas tank - cause it has a double plate right where the tow loop attaches to the body (its 1965 thru 1967 cars).. But that makes a triangle from the center front of the car to both of the rear torsion bar end plates - some like a four point landing rather than just three.
