Does anybody have photos of the rear rubber seal that goes on the Stainless steel bar adjacent to the soft window? I have the very expensive rubber seal, but not quite sure how it fits on the bar. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't remember it being that big of a deal. Take the old one off, clean everything and dry fit the new one, use a grease pencil to mark and align. There are some plastic rivets that you'll need. I remember gluing in place in sections starting from the center and moving out then down making sure the ends mate well with door top. Some trimming may be required but measure and fit several times given the cost of that baby!

I think Pete's talking about the rearmost seal - the one that's a flap between the Targa bar and the soft window. I don't have a pic handy, but someone surely does. It simply glues lightly to the edge of the stainless, hangs down to the window to prevent water and dust intrusion.
Sorry, I see now that you mean the seal on the backside of the bar. As I remember that can only go in one way and I think it's a press fit with no or very little glue. Again, there's some trimming needed at the ends. I ended up with some puckering at one of the corners and was never successful at getting rid of it.

I only put mine on when showng the car. That @$%!! expensive piece of rubber tends to 'bacon up' pretty quickly. There was guy with a red '69E softie at Palooza/Escape to the Ozarks that had a different one that laid flat, but he had now idea where it came from.
Yes that is the one I am referring to. I cannot tell which side is up and around the stainless steel and which is in and around the steel structure of the bar. Could someone take a picture of a correct installation and post.
Thanks
