    FS: 1970 911E Coupe - $32,000 FIRM

    SOLD to the first caller...

Originally purchased from Porsche/Audi West in Pleasanton,CA by an Air Force Colonel/Pilot.
Garaged and loved in San Francisco until his death. Passed on to his son in Sacramento until his death.

Original from the hood badge and Boge hydro-pneumatic struts to the square style muffler tip.

Odometer shows 56K, likely 156K, could be 256K. Awaiting records from widow.

Cracks in dash and arm rests, small area of headliner near rear pop-out window on passenger side.

Only non-original interior item is the radio, original radio may be in storage.

Deep 6s appear original to the car.

Very good to exceptional brightwork for an essentially all original car.

Engine sweats in several areas and could benefit from a re-seal, not immediately necessary. Starts easily (despite thottle contol being disconnected), no smoke (even on start up). Slow 2nd gear synchro. All gauges work except the clock.

All that great stuff said, the car was involved in fairly major passenger side mishap at some time in it's life. Well repaired by US standards, but certainly not put on a Cellete bench. Somewhat wide door gaps.

This E is a PERFECT driver and could be made concour perfect at some time in the future if desired. It would be a travesty IMHO to do that prematurely as this car appears in all ways to have never been off the road. The patina is perfectly even all around the car.

Located in San Bernardino Mountain area off Highway 18.

    909-963-8544 Thanks for looking, Scott

I love the equalizer for the radio under the dash. I think they were standard issue back in the day. Very nice car.

As far as these cars go, this car looks very correct.

Can you post pics of the engine?

Price is very good too, from the looks of it. Of course it all comes down to the PPI, but it sure looks right. So so many of these cars were bastardized back in the day they look nothing like they were meant to.

6 digit cali plate, too. Wish my car was in as good a shape. If the car turns out to be as good as it looks I hope some here buys it and it does not end up getting flipped on feebay.

Pastel, you trying to give me a heart attack?

Eli, here is an engine shot for you. Still has cosmoline on the fan.

2 more pics of things you don't often see anymore...snail horns and original luggage compartment liner.

It even has the original engine sound deadening pad.

They really are totally different when restored. Nothing is the same as original.

    Baaaaaaa...I'm feeling a little sheepish.
