Poor marketing decision; I don't know why they used photos of a '67 from their last auction:

FS: @Stockholm - 1967 911S Sunroof Coupe (No Engine Project)

Yikes, an 'S' project with no engine or transmission. The speedo looks like its out of a 912.
    1967 Porsche 911S Coupe (Project)
VIN: 307092 S (You would think the seller would have provided chassis # IN THE AD to prove it is an 'S'?)
    Engine: Nope
    Trans: Nope
Color: Many colors (originally Irish Green)/Black
    Mileage: (I bet there is some . . .)
    Price: €76,900 (Negotiable)/~US$82,000

    Seller's Description:

A genuine Porsche 911S 1967 SWB (short wheelbase) and with electric sunroof very unusual accessory at 911S. The car sold new in February 1967 at the Porsche Raffay Hamburg. Original color was Irischgrön (6606) with black interior. The car have no engine but gearbox. All chassis and color plates remain in the right places. The car has not been crashed or rebuilt only a slight widening of back fenders probably done in the 70s. Unfortunately the car have rust that is common on early Porsche 911 and needs a renovation. The car have the original registration paper (USA). Have Kardex.

Listed for sale on PCA site- gotta be a scam, any one know legit owner or car
The one owner 911S was purchased from Wester Porsche in Monterey, California in 1971. its being a joy to drive for the past 46 years. As the years have passed I find myself driving it less and feel it needs a change of home. The car has always been garaged here in central California. The interior is original with the optional Recaro seats.the paint was failing so I had it.

Matching Numbers 1967 911S Targa at 356 Registry

There's an ad at the 356 Registry, posted 7 April 2017 for:

    1967 Porsche 911S Targa - Numbers Matching, Rare Silver Metallic - $129,500

For Sale by Steven Watson - Posted in All Other Porsche Cars/Parts/Lit & Memorabilia

Very rare (1 of 483 built) numbers matching 1967 Porsche 911S Soft Window Targa. Sold new in California. Two owner car with second owner owning since 1969. Still with both original California black license plates. All original parts are still with the car. Original floors, rockers and front suspension pan. Parked since the early 1980’s. Still wearing original special order Silver Metallic paint, a rare color for a 1967 911S Targa. Black leather interior with original seats. Original 160HP 2.0S engine was rebuilt prior to long term storage. Original 901 five speed transmission. 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels. Documentented with original owners manual, original soft window Targa booklet, Certificate of Authenticity and service history back to 1969. A very rare and desirable early Porsche 911S that deserves a full restoration.

    Location: San Francisco

The ad says "15″ Fuchs alloy wheels." but it doesn't say " x 15" Fuchs alloy wheels."

    I don't know the seller.
