Man that thing looks tired! I'm guessing the BIN buyer is either going to sink another $50k-$70K into the car to make it right or he's going to get a quick case of buyer's remorse before taking delivery, in which case, we'll be seeing it back on ebay in a few days.....

It's an S. The "type" is 911S. The fact that there isn't an "s" behind the serial number on the latch plate id plate is immaterial, most of my 67S's didn't/don't have an S stamped after the serial number on this plate either. The "type" is the main indicator of the car. There was a previous discussion of this issue.
He'd kind of a crappy seller,... he's harvesting the car before our very eyes at the same time the car is for sale, he's selling or has sold the engine lid grill, the alternator housing, the carb manifolds.....
