I have the same wheel in my SWB '67. It is the perfect choice for these cars as the 370mm and 380mm (which I have as well) flex because of their size and because they are not dished. I plan on keeping my 350mm even after I sell the car someday, otherwise I would be all over this.

No affiliation to the seller, but I can say that these just do not come up often. I'm actually trying to justify the cost so I can have a back-up wheel.

    GLWS,
    -Mike

Hey Mike, how does your stitching compare to this lovely wheel?

    Howdy Jens.

It's identical. Keep in mind that the LeMans were vinyl covered while the Elites were leather. I have a vinyl and my seam at the 7 o'clock position is separating, unlike the one on this wheel. I can't tell if this is re-wrapped or just exceedingly nice. Perhaps the seller can chime in...

See you when the snow melts,
    -Mike

    Hi Mike

the person I bought it from says it was recovered taking the period stitching in to account.
Its a super nice wheel.....if it doesnt sell Ill just hang it on the wall......its a piece of art in my book.

Thanks Mike. I always look forward to seeing your car. I think it's a fantastic wheel. If I didn't have wa-a-a-ay too many steering wheels I would seriously consider this one. "It's a good thing."

Good luck with the sale 68-911.

    All the best, Tony

Is it now leather covered? Kind of looks like it from the pics.

PS... who is Tony and what have you done with Jens?
