This item wais a PORSCHE 911 rally from 70´s and it was removed and stayed in garage ever since, you can tell by the nappa it is in very good condition and good to go racing or show car, there is some small parts that need to be glued again. The bucket is fiberglass (no-plastic) very light and strong, it looks like a size L so i´m 1.85 m and i fit perfect. Thank you Mr9146 for your words, i had some tips on the brand of this nice seat, some said CORBEAU, some said COBRA or KOENIG, it´s very dificult to find images of equal ones on google, similar ones are more easy to find, now i talked with owner, and he does not remenber the brand, but said, it is an original Vynil cover, never been refurbished, and they raced early 70´s.

I wont let this go for a bargain on ebay, so i will probably close the auction early, it is a buy it now €360+ shipping- Offers are wellcome,

    Thank you for watching,

    kind regards

    Paulo

I'm with Marco. Couple of questions...

Do you think think this would work in a 964? And what might the cost be of shipping it to the U.S. West Coast?

    Thanks,

Yes, it would work in the 964 if you could figure out moutning. I'd say you would be best served by a set of RSA seats or Pole Positions in the 964. They're more period correct, easier to mount, and probably more comfortable over long periods of time.

However, I have a sneaking suspicion that this is a very, very early Recaro - I remember seeing something like this on Edmond Harris' site before he took down all the photos. At 360 euro it's a good buy...

Hi Marco, Recaro always had different mounting.
The first "late" bucket looked like that

I'm not sure I understand, Uli. Are you saying that the bucket that Papiko is selling is actually late 70s? I do like your early Recaro pamphlet, though, and I'd love to see it in more detail if possible.

I did suggest that Papiko contact you about this seat ... am I correct in assuming that it's a Recaro shell?

Marco, i talked with Uli allready about it, it´s quite dificult to spot one like this, on the other hand, i dont want to fall it apart to look for any dates or stamping , so is in such a good condition, that makes no sense to break it just to be sure but, anyway tomorow i will call Russel (edmondHarris) and asking him maybe he can identify it. As i said this is early 70´s not 80´s. i confirmed with my friend that sold it to me.If anyone knows a concret way to identify it, please let me know.

    Best.. .
