    FS: 1971 911T 3.0 Coupe

    1971 Porsche 911T 3.0
    VIN 9111102572

This particular 911T Coupe is finished in Albert Blue and is a straight, rust and accident free example that spent the majority of its life in California. A number of years ago, the original motor was professionally replaced with a 3.0 liter 911SC engine. It was rebuilt by the previous owner and continues to run strong with no issues. All updates (Carrera chain tensioners and pop off) have been completed.

Other changes to this car included stiffer torsion bars, Fuchs 15x6 (deep sixes) front and 15x7 rear, all new brakes and brake lines, a front Carrera style oil cooler, headers, and factory sport muffler . Inside, a roll bar and period sport seats have been added. The car has been lowered and corner balanced. The car also retains its original factory tool kit.

I removed the bumpers when I purchased the car and "shaved" all the trim as well as having the stock exhaust pipe opening removed. These pieces were all repainted. The remainder of the car was repainted quite a while ago in the original color. It has held up well and has a consistent patina. No rust or repaired accident damage.

Hello....new member and the purchaser of this car. I wanted to take the time to communicate to anyone interested in anything that Keith has for sale, you will not be disappointed. This car was even in better shape than is described here and the transaction was stress free. To give you an example of the ethics/reputation values he has; after the money was wired, he insisted on servicing a few items on the car prior to delivery, as the car sold quicker than expected and he didnt have the time to complete prior to sale.

    Cant beat that......

Kudos to both buyer and seller in this transaction! There seem to be more stories of negative dealings that we really appreciate when a buyer takes the time to tell the community of a great experience. Human nature says that we are more apt to complain than to praise, but maybe as a community we should make the effort to call out the positive experiences we have with other members. I think we might be surprised that the vast majority of deals are win/win for both parties. In general I have faith in people and try not to make the occasional bad deal sour me on people.

    Thanks for sharing!
