1965 911 needle in haystack question

Hello all, I recently acquired a 1965 911 with VIN: 304363 which happens to have an incorrect earlier motor 903356. I am now searching for the correct case 907558 or somewhere close to it. I am willing to part with the 903356 case if anyone has the matching chassis for it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated !

That's a 66 chassis. Well into the 66 Model year and calendar year. http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...65-66-model-yr

Just to reiterate the 66-ness of your VIN. I have 304088 and it's all 1966, built and sold in 66.

Having a 356 as well, that would be an awesome engine number to have!

I think the OP has gotten our point. . . nothing wrong with being a '66!

Be proud! Stand tall for your weber carbs, spraybar lubrication, ignition coil, kneepad, ignition switch, gauges, washer bottle, fuel tank and adjustable front camber!
