    WTB: Nice SWB front fenders

I need a pair of good fenders for my '68 softie project. I'd like to buy complete units. with headlight buckets and turn signal boxes. Earlier fenders will probably be ok - I'm using the earlier covered headlights. If there are other differences, someone will hopefully educate me.

Make sure you get the correct fenders. 1968 fenders are unique to that year only.....

Thanks, Curt - that's what I was trying to figure out. Is the only difference the addition of the headlight mounting tabs, or is there other stuff?

The early 65-67(?) fenders have a wider lip, in -68 when the 5,5" wheels were introduced they shaved off some of the lip for clearence ( I assume that was the reason, perhaps someone with more knowledge can chime in here?)

'68's are one year only, their the only long hood fenders with:

    Headlight tabs (4)
    Shaved wheel arches
    Wide 2-screw horn grills
    No flairs

I'll accept '66, '67, or '68 fenders, though I'd prefer '68. I can shave the wheel arches, and, as mentioned, I'm using earlier headlights.

These were originally Irish Green and came on a 68 911 I bought years ago. mainly wanted the 5.5x15 Fuchs that were on it. Anyway. if we could get some input as to what they are worth I'd be happy to trade or sell them as I no longer have that car.
