    Head rest question

I'd search that one but I can't find a combo of terms leading in the right direction...

Would a 68 seat (no headrest, at least on my car) be equipped internally to receive some ? I have a set on my 69 seats that I could salvage and reuse. Assume you answered yes to part #1, would those fit ? Thanks !

The very first 68YM cars did not have provisions for headrests. Then, many came with provisions, but had plugs installed in the holes. Cars made after Jan of 68 (for the US, anyway) came with headrests. 69 seatbacks only have 2 captive nuts for the hinges, instead of 3 like the 68s. I, also, believe that the 69 seatbacks were a bit more padded than 68s. They will fit, though.

    Regards

    Jim
