    beware Sport seat on ebay

Hi Guys be aware, this is a BMW seat, it won't fit a porsche without mods.

And these are also BMW. I wrote to the seller and informed him about that - he didn't change his ad

I have a pair of these from a early 3.0. If they don't bolt straight in, how hard are they to mount in a '69 912/911?
    Adaptor plates?
    thanks, Dean

If they were in a 3.0 Cs(i) they are aftermarket as they were never an option in the e9. So they should be plug'n'play in a Porsche.
This seat was exclusive to the 02. To mount it you have to cut the 4 little legs und weld on the 4 tabs to mount it on a late style bracket that includes the sliders - not a big deal.
Folding seats were also available in Porsches (and are very rare) I know a first owner longhood with folding sports seats.
However before you buy this seat get mine - it's restored and costs less than buying this and having the it done.

    Cheers

    Uli
