    WTB: 400mm Leather VDM Wheel ('72 Dated)

    Hi All.
    I'm looking for an excellent condition '72 dated leather 400mm VDM wheel with ORIGINAL leather and stitching. I'd like the leather to be in very good condition with no cracking or checking (a little worn or brown patina is OK)

    The part number on the hub should read 901.347.081.10 + a '72 date stamp.

    I have one with nice, not perfect, leather, which needs a complete restitching. Dated 5/72. There is some fretting of the leather at 10 o'clock, but no cracking. The leather is otherwise smooth and supple, with some aging. Let me know whether this interests you, and I'll shoot you some photos.

    Thanks for the offer Tom. I'm hoping to find one with nice original stitching @ leather. I've actually got one similar to what you describe that I'll be putting up FS as soon as I can find what I'm looking for.
