Best source for SWB USA front and taillight lenses

I understand that there are various sources for front and rear light lenses. What is to popular opinion as to who has the best quality lenses? I am not after euro lenses but US lenses. many thanks JK

There are many sources but they all sell the same lens. There is a place in Emeryville that has those things, as well. You would be better served by looking for NOS or excellent used ones, IMHO.

Bought all four US original corners in excellent condition from that "place in Emeryville that has those things". I had the aftermarket lenses and even new the color is extremely dull. Personally, I'd rather have NOS or excellent used parts vs shiny new but incorrect repros.

Jim, After the '57 Larry made me promise not to go the NOS route on this car.

I was under the impression that recently some new repo's lenses came on the market which were actually pretty nice. I guess I misunderstood. Will call you later today

I bought a bunch of stuff at an auction a few months ago and there were a few prizes in an otherwise kind of routine assortment of parts. There was a set of NOS Euro front lenses, one left side USA front lens, and one left side USA taillight lens. I'm having some nice original light housings replated and adding new bulb sockets, bulbs and correct gray gaskets. Not quite NOS, but NOS where it counts - the lenses. They're not for sale yet as they won't be ready for another couple of weeks. I'm planning on taking them to the LA Literature Meet. Let me know if you're interested in the meantime.

Bosch never sold just lenses but the early repros had Bosch molded into them. I'd add paint to the orange to get a deeper color. I'll trade an early rear euro pair with Bosch script for a pair of euro fronts with Bosch script.
