Thread: She's Home. And Awesome.

    She's Home. And Awesome.

So it happened. My 1969 911S SWT made her way safely across the country and is home in Austin. I know a lot of you saw the car in the for sale thread and I'm happy to report that she is everything she was described to be. She's awesome. The car exceeds my expectations in every way. I didn't think it was possible but she actually looks better in person than in the photos. You know how some cars just scream "authentic"? That's exactly what this car has. Just the slightest patina in all the right places to let you know she's for real.

Big-time thanks to Jonathan who sold me the car. He was straight with me from the first conversation and I would buy another car from him in a second. I wish all sellers were as good as him.

Quick photo before I get back to pretending to work. I imagine I'll be a frequent visitor around these parts in the future as I get to know my new pride and joy.

I'm going to try. I made a reservation at the hotel. Hopefully real life plays along.

    Enjoying her more every day.

The car's getting quite a reaction her in Austin - even among some very jaded car guys. There's just something about her...
