    WTB: Non-Working Radios

I'm looking for radios in non-working condition that are correct for longhoods, USA only (FM dial to 108). Also, knobs, wires, escutcheons (that word again!).

    Thanks,
    JohnA

Hello John, I have what I think is a dealer installed Sapphire (sp?) FM 8 track, I had powered it up prior to stripping the 68 targa it came in, I have seen them in other cars advertised for sale in interior pics. I also had a 67 VW for many years with a dealer installed Sapphire am fm.

Drop me a note if interested, either way a free bump.

    Regards

John I have a Blaupunkt Franfurt that I bought out of a salvaged '68 Jaguar in 1970. I bought it because of the 6v capability and subsequently ran it in my 63 vw bus for years. I was planning to sell the radio a while back but it failed to work when I tested it. It's now with Hernan over at German Radio Repair in Burbank Ca. with what has been diagnosed with a bad FM modulator. That's NLA and he does not have a used one . The radio is complete and correct for a 68-69 with knobs, bezel, etc. Let me know if interested and i'll pick it up and send you a pic.
    Jim
