WTB: Tilt part of sport seat base

    Hi all

I have some double locking sport seat bases that someone has removed the tilt part from to fit modern race seats.
Does anyone know where I could get the highlighted part? I would prefer not to have to purchase complete bases for obvious reasons and it appears that it would be a simple weld to reattach the tilt frame.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Andy, get the dimensions for me as I have no Porsche bracket for comparison at the moment.
I have 3 or 4 upper Recaro bracket parts, check the distance between the hinge parts so I can compare to mine.
Are you looking for driver or passenger (ehm... I mean left or right)
    Cheers

    Hi Uli

Thanks so much for your reply.
Ill check it out tonight and get dimensions, or the best I can. It looks like they were ground off at the tabs where the hinges are welded onto the base... it that makes sense. Ill try and get pictures on the bases tonight also.
I need both left and right

    Thanks again

    Hi Uli

I got some measurements last night but it was a little hard as the tabs that hold the hinges have been ground off.
The outside of the tabs would be approx 425mm and inside would be about 355mm

Have a look at the pictures, these are the actual bases and you can see where the hinges and attached tilt brackets have been removed.

Sorry, I was wrong, I have only one pair left, but I want to keep the right one.
It's not that difficult to remanufacture if you have a sample.
    Let's pm

I've had the same tilting mechanism on brackets for other cars. BMW ones share the same part. the framework is different.

ps. I have a stack of pics with measurements if it would help. like these.

    Thanks for that.
Uli has one bracket that I can use and we are looking for a RH side one to complete the set.
Hopefully one will surface at some stage... and hopefully with both parts of the hinge so we can remanufacture the other one
