It's a scam - have you recently placed a 'wanted' ad somewhere which included your email address ?

Often this will result in a direct email stating that the sender has what you're looking for - the address is nearly always claiming to be somewhere in the Blackpool area of the UK.

These are known scams which target Pelican, Early S Registry, etc.

If anyone gets an offer of parts from the UK it is always worth checking with one of the established UK members as the early Porsche 'scene' is quite small here & most genuine people are known.

Thanks good to know. Every time I place a "wanted to buy" request up, some body in England always has what I am looking for right away.
