Need help with My 1972 T Build date.

Need a little help from this forum. I'm progressing on my #'s matching restoration. Since the car was painted from it's original color years ago, The VIN door sticker is long gone. I ordered the COA and it states "Information Not Available". I'm going to be getting a new VIN decal made, but don't know the MFG date. Anyone have any ideas (Estimates) based off the VIN#? This is the place that would know

Before the door stickers were on the cars, we took a survey of component dates. You'll be suprised how much you'll learn about CD.
Others will have 72 T dates to compare but I'm thinking before Christmas...I have 1802 also without sticker, and the components are mostly 2/72...So I'm thinking yours should be close to 11/71...Let us know what you find..remember it has to be a 72 911T to compare..

I noticed the date stamp on my rims is 6/73 and the compliance sticker is 7/73.

My '72 T Coupe is VIN 9112100390......COA lists production completion date as 9/23/71.

Mike's info is the best on offer. I think that Dec 1971 is a safe bet.

If you compare Mike and Franks' data, you can see they made 1030-390 coupes in 3 months or 213 per month. That is 10 per working day. You VIN is 45 beyond Mike's. That's 4.5 days. However, Mike's was built at most 2 days before the Christmas-New Year's shutdown that was common in Germany in those days.

So I would argue yours was made in the first week of January 1972. Most likely January 5th, 1972.
