    front and rear latches

Were the front and rear latches/receptacles for the engine bay anodized when the car was new, or were they just silver? I have read and seen varying information.

    Thank you.

I believe anodizing is just for aluminum parts, the latches are steel, so they would have been cad or zinc plated, more likely zinc. There are some others here who are the real plating experts.
