Cool Help - What are the best Books/Manuals for 1971 911T?

Hello all. I have owned a 1971 911T Targa since '96. I am the second owner. Matching numbers car Light Ivory. have paperwork on the car from 78'. I am on a mission to bring the car back to showroom condition over a period of time. I am going to leave the super technical work to the pros but would like to get some recommendations on technical manuals or any printed or video info that would be relevant. If anyone has any good tips please let me know. Thank You...........

The factory 911 shop manuals are a good investment. They come up on ebay from time to time. Two volumes.

For infos about originality (but not technical infos) Johnson's "911&912 A Restorer's guide to Authenticity" is still the best source, b/w photos only, MY 64-73. I basicially learned everything from this book. (and for everything else.. there was the registry )

Peter Morgan "Original 911", same infos as Johnson's (but a little bit less detailed) color photos and comprehensible infos on options/colors, MY 64-94. First book I ever bought and it served me well.

Factory spare parts manuals: full of exploded diagrams showing you the sequence things come apart in and are put back together in... .pdf versions are ok as you can print out the relevant sections; but I prefer the real thing... but they are getting pricey now!

thanks guys.... Will post pics of the car later today. It's been in the garage sitting for 7 years and all of the pics i have are before i owned a digital camera! I ordered the factory manuals on .pdf off a guy on ebay. Want to buy an original set as well. Does anyone know of any DVD/VHS training manuals? THX

Here are some pics of the car. Not very good ones. The car is in the shop right now cause I haven't started it in at least 7 years. When it comes back I can get some better pics.
