Don't know the car but the price is ambitious
They did rise in price for while and hit this sort of mark before the GFC but last one I know of that was sold was a 75 Euro carrera at $115,000.AUD

From a superficial glance:
1. External mirror is not correct for the MY.
2. H4 trim should be chromed and not painted.
Color combo not my taste but that's purely subjective. Otherwise it looks very nice!

- 1977 Fiona - 911 Carrera 3.0 Oak Green Metallic
- 1993 Bellatrix - 964 Turbo 3.6 Black
I keep a registry of 1972 and 1973 2.4 S coupé chassis. Infos always welcome!!!
My 74 Euro Carrera had always had painted trim rings which clipped over the chrome H4 rings and yes shuld be the funny looking smaller black mirror.

I like it and would buy it in a heartbeat if I had that kind of coin kickin' around.

I know this special car, we used it on display on our plates.com.au stand at Motorclassica this year- I was lucky enough to get a brief run in it.
Great noise and feel – just like Clyde's RS which I was lucky enough to drive a few years ago....thanks again mate!
I'm sure the owner wouldn't mind me chiming in; I found out about it during Motorclassica.
It's a genuine 3 owner from new matching no's Aus delivery Carrera 2,7. It was auctioned by Bonhams Goodman in Sydney in 2002- I was there - after being discovered in the Estate of the first owner; it was left to his daughter from memory.c.50,000 miles from new then, I see it's now 58,000 miles from new now.
It was bought by one of Australia's premier RS collectors in '02 (he has a RHD 2,7 RS, 964RS, 993RSCS etc) and the current owner acquired it from him. It's in what I think is remarkable original condition.
The car was "updated" in period, in the late 70s it is thought, by the first owner with a later dash, door trim and the rear view mirror.
The thing about this car is it's so ORIGINAL that the quandary is, well, why replace these things? If you change the mirror, well then you may have to paint the door and in turn you'd loose the special and all original orange P O R S C H E decal. These original decals are far superior to today's repros, the original PVC or whatever it is is quite thick and very different to the repro decals. The dash has the perfect low km patina matching the rest of the car, its the old case of leave well enough alone. All easily addressed, but why would you?
Another most excellent thing for me is that the car was ordered with the cool orange bonnet "Safety Stripes" from new......that is a cool and desirable period option-see original pic of the car when new attached.
I know two Aussie big bumper 2,7's Carreras have recently been sold and have gone to the UK- a viper green and orange (I think) examples. An Adelaide delivered by Chateau Moteur light yellow car has just returned here (I saw it by chance on Wednesday).
Also I understand that the two Aussie '73 RS's that changed hands locally in the last 12 mths were circa $450k and that both are side by side getting, what, $100-150k restos on them........(give or take)?
So, $150k odd looks pretty sharp buying for this one-off to my mind.
Wish I had the readies currently as '73's seem to be getting further out of reach.
