Another question for the cogniscenti. I rebuilt my seats and recliners (for a '73S with comfort seats) and got new covers and foam from Autos International. Everything looks and works great, but the seat springs make noise like a mattress in a pay-by-the-hour motel. They are just about as soft too I suspect (not being one to frequent such establishments). I'm considering putting some burlap under the spring box, pulling it up along the sides and filling the whole damn thing with foam chips to quiet the noise and stiffen the seat. I'll then put the seat cushion back on top of that. Anybody done something like this ?
