    New owner

Just wanted to introduce myself and ROW 11825178, it's a 68T with a nice 901/02 engine from the same year, car was originally delivered to VW Canada in Toronto in April of 68 and I bought it in that local area. Just got it in the garage on Friday, will be posting many questions (after search) as there are issues to figure out. Car seems very solid and I had a PPI that did not reveal anything unusual, it would seem it has all original floors. The rear quarters are slightly flared as well as the front fenders, there is no evidence of any welding in the rear fenders and I don't think the quarters were changed however time will tell, the front may have post 69 fenders. First job is to replace the flapper boxes and add the windshield washer container and pump that are missing otherwise it will not pass inspection. Not looking forward to removing the boxes as I feel broken studs will be the order of the day. BTW, it did come with the original Webasto, removed but all there. Also want to quickly change the headlights to Euro spec, really don't like these. Name: IMG_1928_800x600.JPG

Great find - would love to see many more photos, especially of the rear flairs and engine compartment.

The "S" decal will have to go since it isn't, however it does have the "S" engine.
