    Found 4.5 x 15 rims Fuch Rims

I discovered that I have 4.5 x 15 rims. I can't find a date stamp, is this because they were only made one year?

There is an A stamped up by the hub area. Part number and fox very visible, just no date stamp. Actually there are two fox emblems, one by the part number the other by the hub.

Any comments ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Gene

The 4 1/2 X 15s frequently don't have part numbers or dates on them. They were made at least two years for replacement.

Hi, from memory I think the first run (3-6 months) of the 4.5 fuchs used ink stamps for the part number. These over the years wears off. I have some pics somewhere if that helps.

    Thanks

Alan can you post some pictures of those very early wheels. I think they are slightly different from the later one's.

Here are some pics of the ones I have. Don't know much about them, but they do have hearts.

All early wheels have "hearts" except for the 71 MY wheels.

The very early 4 1/2 X 15 wheels have some minor machining differences and one minor forging difference.
I don't belive it is worth noting the changes. As the all of the early wheels amd many changes during production in machining and forging.
It is a much bigger can of worms than the "heart" issue.
