    AA Performance Pistons

I would like to hear comments; good and bad, with respect to experiences with AA Performance Pistons and Cylinders. Specificially considering purchasing 84mm hi compression set for installation in my 1970 911T 2.2. Thanks!

I recently completed a rebuild of my 2.2T engine. I went with new AA 9.1:1 E spec p/c's. I found the product to be very nicely made, and the performance thus far has been great. For the amount of miles these cars are going to see in the future, they were a great replacement from a budget stand point. Now if track days and hard driving is your game, then there is no substitute for Mahles, but you pay the price. I bought them directly from AA and the transaction was very smooth and simple. The set comes with rings, wrist pins etc. Hope this helps...Cheers Steve

As a side note, I am running Daugherty E cams, and a Bosch E distributor, with Webers. It makes a really nice engine over stock T. You can PM me if you have specific questions on the build.
