    Workshop pages- Air distribution levers and their cables placement

    In my restoration of the dash area: facia covering, radio replacement etc I remove the air distribution lever assembly. I am curious about the cable adjustment(s) at the levers.

    Anyone have factory repair manual pages on this or share some links/ wisdom etc. I've located the correct cables to the correct corresponding control lever, but I am not getting the cable sheathing correctly lined up.

    I don't recall that manual covers this very much, if at all. The important part here is to make sure the sheath at both ends is secure, other wise the cable won't move. Adjustment is done by leaving hoses off so you can see what the various flappers are doing so you can adjust the cable length correctly.
