Very early spring plates and covers

I have just removed a set of very spring plates from an early car and the spring plates and covers look just like those fitted to a 356C.

Does any one know if these were ever used on 911s as the covers fit and the spring plate bolts up to the trailing arm.

This is as was used on the 1964 cars, and I checked photos - it was still in use on a April 1965 car, I'm thinking it was standard

The corresponding rubber bushings should be found in an early VW Beetle stock if not available from Porsche stores

356C used short torsion bars and covers with no central hole. 356A and B used long torsion bars. You can use a 911 cover and longer bushing to upgrade 356A and B.
