Internal 'O' rings, iron rear calipers: Reusable?

    Guys,
If I split the iron rear caliper (ventilated disk), can I reuse the 4 internal rubber 'O' rings? If not, is there a source for replacements? Are the 4 bolts and nuts reusable? What is the torque spec for reassembling the 4 through bolts?

I have them apart for serious rust removal and painting but want to make sure that they go back together correctly and safely.

    Thanks

Talk about small world coincidences! As it works out, tomorrow I am sending Eric a set of 914/4 rear brake rotors to be drilled to a 5 bolt pattern for my 912. I will ask him to include the O rings in the return package. Thanks

And gotta love the timely response. BTW, I was born at Letterman in the Presidio. Letterman was my father's first assignment in the Army. Somewhere I still have the street address where we lived.

Small world. I'm sure your father wouldn't recognize the Presidio these days. It's gone through quite a renovation and is a great place to spend the day.. as a civilian.

My father was stationed @ Treasure Island, unfortunately those buildings are falling into ruin, unlike the Presidio.

Good luck with the calipers. Eric does outstanding work if you haven't used him before.

    Kent,
Thanks for help on this. Off to the Zone 4 regions president's meeting tomorrow. Back to the garage on Sunday.
