    WTB: Philips Autoradio Cassetta

I'm looking for a Philips Autoradio Cassetta that would have come out of a circa 1971 911. Anyone have one??

I looked, and looked, and looked some more....10 years worth of looking...sold the car instead.

Still, good luck in your search.

Isn't that a bit extreme? I mean, I know you wanted that radio, but still....

Lew is a no-compromise kind of guy, it's either perfect or it's gotta go. I can respect that kind of lunacy... er I mean commitment. Yeah, that's it, committed for the cause.

Phillips Cassette players were made only for the European cars with their bandwidth. They were never installed for north American cars.
If you really want one I found one in Germany or somewhere around there about 10 years ago but pass because of that reason. Their out there but not on this side of the pond.

Per the porsche COA my car supposedly came with one of these philips radio cassette players as well. I haven't been able to find one. I have a 1970 911T.

I have a photo somewhere, I'm always amazed when I can find a needle in a haystack

I don't have the car anymore, but I know the current owner would still love to find this radio...
