Nice shots. The Leica handles the low light and colors well. Impressive at only ISO 200.

What's your point, Jeroen 914 ?
Shot #1 was actually at f1.7 ( I mistakenly thought I had opened the lens all the way to it's max. aperture ) at 1/90th of a second, because I wanted to isolate the filler caps against the intentionally blurred background.
Shot # 2 was taken at f4.8 and 1/12th sec. because I wanted the dash, the instruments and the steering wheel in focus - at 100% you can detect a slight amount of blurring due to camera shake - the image would not be suitable for enlargement & printing, but I felt it's acceptable for internet posting.
Both images were taken with the 35mm f1.4 Summilux FLE fixed focal length prime lens, since Leica wisely does not make / sell zoom lenses for the M model.

" slavish adherence to originality wasn't for me, because the car wasn't as good as it could be."
Rob Dickinson's response when asked what motivated him to build Singers
Simply because you mentioned "handheld"
And the only thing that makes handheld difficult is a slow shutterspeed (not aperture or ISO)
Also, what would still be an easily handheld shutterspeed for say a 28 or 35mm would be more challenging on a longer focal length
So, that's why you had me wondering...

I took this image a few weeks ago at the Spadero Memorial Drive in Westchester, NY. Used my Fujifilm X100s and I focused on the horizontal trim -- I like the way the camera blurred the image creating a sense of motion that naturally comes from the bullet-style mirror.
I believe the car is a late fifties Abarth --
