    Hmm

I have a listing for Veale as a Porsche dealer in Santa Rosa, in '70 PDL. . . but not after --- at least thru Sep '73. In fact, I show NO dealers of Longhoods North of The City for that interim. Veale was around for a while, after --- VWs? . . . and may've serviced/re-sold Longhoods . . . but not as an 'official' dealer, so . . .

My guess would be that the car was originally sold by one of the Big Dealers in The Bay Area --- then taken North. Here's a listing of possibles . . .

    Tom Mason Porsche+AUDI
    250 Abby St, Fresno

    Team Lucas P+A
    19100 Mission Blvd, Hayward

    Wester P+A
    1187 Del Monte Ave, Monterey

    Martin-Johnson P+A
    290 27th St, Oakland

    Mozart P+A
    1730 Embarcadero Rd, Palo Alto

    Niello P+A, Ltd
    1841 El Camino Ave, Sacramento

    Neufeld P+A
281 El Camino Real, San Carlos

    Carlsen P+A
    1701 Van Ness, San Francisco

    Anderson-Behel P+A
4355 Stevens Creek Blvd, Santa Clara

    McPeake P+A
2103 North Main St, Walnut Creek

I am pretty sure that Veale was in operation all through the 70s and 80s and beyond.
Veale operated a bunch of dealerships, including Porsche, in Santa Rosa
Don't forget Leon C. Felton in Mill Valley, either.

    Regards

    Jim
