Make your own MFI Pump Gaskets

As the availability of gasket kits from Bosch for the MFI pumps is a little hit and miss at the moment, I thought it would be a good time to make available my drawings from which you can make your own gaskets.

I can send anyone who wants them a PDF of these drawings at 1:1. You can then print them at home onto an A4 sheet of 0.8mm thick Flexoid gasket paper and cut them out with a 10A surgical blade. I cut the holes using a craft punch. These are available from most craft shops as are the blades. Please note that the JPEG images are not to scale.

Some good motor supply shops have the gasket paper but you can also get it from www.ramgaskets.com who also do the 2mm sheet rubber. These need to be cut with the blade dipped in oil occasionally.

Given the price of the gasket kit it is worth the time it takes to do this I think.

I have put together a kit of the washers, O rings, bearings etc and can provide these if needed.
