    Schnorr Washers

I want to show off what real Schnorr washers look like. My company also bought several boxes of Schnorr Washers from Schnorr for the CV joint bolts in M8 and M10. We were informed that the yellow zinc finish is no longer available due to RoHS. They come in a few different finishes and stainless steel. As a R&R item, you can go through a box quickly. Schnorr washers are also used under the camberplate sockets and the 914-914/6 seat rail sockets & bolts.

Very cool and nice to see a whole box. I typically buy these from Stoddards at $0.32/ea . I'm sure it's much more economical to buy in bulk.

The only source in the world to get REAL Schnorr washers is from the Schnorr company who makes them.

McMaster-Carr sells Belleville washers which are not Schnorr washers. They look similar.

It's my understanding that it's a brand name difference, and that the washers are the same. They are designed for the same usage. The original ones that I removed from my CV joints look identical to the Belleville brand.
