    '73 E Heat exchanger/muffler...

... would the '73 E have had the 2 into 1 arrangement for exhaust? Would there have been the SSI style for the exchangers into the muffler?

    thanks,

The 73 uses the 'early' style exhaust, that is a muffler with 'two' in and 'one' out, NOT the crossover type you're referring to with the single inlet muffler.

Were they claiming you deserved "back-date" points?

No.... just variations from "stock". I have an "OEM" dansk (2 into1) that I think qualifies for a stock portion of orig.

    thanks,
