Thread: What do you think about this 69S engine?

What do you think about this 69S engine?

Finally I find an original engine of my car (Matching Number). The owner's asking price is around $3,000 USD. Compare the price/Engine condition. What do you guy think?

Don't even think. Buy it before he changes his mind and you miss out on the matching engine of your car.

The thing is I am pretty sure that it is an original engine to my car. At that time when I bought the car from the previous owner, the engine in the car was changed to 3.0. I have been trying to reach the owner to buy an original engine from him. Until now he decided to sell to me. So I am going to take a look at the engine in flesh on sunday. Any special points that I have to look for to confirm that it is an original engine to my car besides Engine#, Mag Case#.

Any advices would be really appreciated

You didn't buy it immediately? Shame on you. It's worth that much as a core...

Hopefully you have been to determine if the case is undamaged and able to be rebuilt. Do you know why it was removed from your car? If it is usable you have just paid for the rebuild by adding that value back into your car.
