Then and Now. Historic Picture Thread

After seeing several threads recently where current owners have received photos from previous owners, I thought it would be cool if we could start a thread showcasing more examples of that. If you have received photos from your cars past, post them here along with a picture of your car as it currently is. I am in the process of researching the history of my car currently and have no photos from its past. I hope to be able to contribute to this thread soon, but I wanted to get some inspiration to motivate me not to give up on my search for my cars history.

As she now sits (I know, sad....)

That's great! Doesn't look like much has changed.

    A sampling of photos.

451 in the hands of the original owner at the track in '73. Outside the shop of the second owner, who was a mechanic near Basel around 1980. As it sits now (it needs better looking tires don't you think).

The tires look fine, but I'd love to see it wearing a muffler skirt once again.

9113300854 circa 1990 at the home of the previous owner, just a few years after she was imported into Canada. Already black instead of the original ivory white. Imported by a guy who went to jail for running a chop shop, purchased by a husband/wife team of detectives at a police auction, sold when they divorced a couple of years later and into the hands of this gentleman. Wish I knew more of the story. Purchased in Texas I believe according to the Letter of Authentication (they didn't have COAs in 1990, just real letters from the factory).

2012 when I bought her and towed her to Robert Gross' shop in Bolton. The PO wanted to dust her off before letting her into the public eye !

Great pictures guys. You have some beautiful cars. I love that so many of you have pictures from multiple decades. Its nice to see that some of these cars weren't modified too heavily throughout their lives (unlike my poor car). Keep them coming.
